Topic: One night in Bangkok.....
Well, after 6 weeks of rest and relaxation we decided that it was time to "get out of our comfort zones" and do some real travelling.

Our next destinations would be Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. We will spend about 6 weeks away from Ko Samui but plan to be back for Christmas time. We needed to get visas for all these countries so we set off to our first destination....Bangkok.

We stayed at the Atlanta Hotel in the Embassy area of Bangkok. If you are ever in Bangkok make it your business to stay at least one night.

Lek who runs the hotel travel agency and has been working there for nearly 30 years is an institution in her own right. She managed to get our visas organised and send us on our way to Chiang Mai for a few days whilst they were being processed. I don't think either me or Den could or would have managed 5 days in Bangkok....I'm definitely a country girl at heart!!!
