Byron Bay Blues

After Brisbane we travelled down to Byron Bay by Greyhound. At Byron we visited the light house and went to the beach. On our first night in Byron we met Nolan and Suzanne an lovely American couple from California. We met in the pub over Pizza and chips and had a great night putting the world to rights. Den and Nolan got on famously and talked about politics and the new world order. In fact it was great to have some conversation other than with each other!!!

We plan to meet up with Nolan and Suzanne when we get home. They were a really nice couple (above).
In Byron we realised that we had been in our (sorry to use management speak) comfort zone. Because we had been to South America first Australia seemed a little to familiar and it was at this point we decided to leave earlier than expect.
