Brisbane...just like old times

party time!
We arrived in Brisbane and booked into a great hostel called the "Palace Embassy". Very modern and well kitted out right in the centre of the city. Brisbane was very different from the Australia we had encountered before then...very cosmopolitan...fantastic food. I am now on a "noodle soup" detox plan and seem to be doing ok but I think our visit to the Asian subcontinent may push me over the edge!!
We met with Sarah Jane and Martin again which led to more nights out. We met some....interesting people.....on a night....Den and his rose coloured glasses. We ended up spending a week there, as it was a cool place to hang out.

We did plenty of cultural things...visited to Botanical Gardens and made up for our shopping withdrawals - we indulged in a lot of retail therapy in Brisbane. Overall Brisbane was a really nice city.
