Topic: Excellent trip
We have just been on a 4 day excursion across the Salar de Uyuni are a in Southern Bolivia. There is a place with salt flats that is over 100 km long and 50km wide.

Our Transport for the trip and a Lorry collecting salt to sell
It is so big that you can see nothing on the horizon, and because it is pure white with no perspective you can do all kinds of weird shots like holding people in your hands! Check out Jane.... I knew she was hard, but this hard?

P-p-pick up a Landcruiser?- Easy Peasy! And Laura and Barbara!!
Whilst on the trip (5000m above sea level) we saw volcanoes, multi coloured lagoons with flamingos, geysers caves and a train graveyard dating back to the 1850s. The area was apparently a hideout for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, when they were on the run at the turn of the 20th Century

Above and below 150 year old trains in a train graveyard in the Bolivian desert

We got to bathe in hot springs and (unfortunately) stayed for one night in the grottiest hostel I have ever witnessed..... Luckily I got to stay in a dormitory and bathe in a hot spring with 5 women and I was the only man.... "Bring it on!!" We are off to Argentina soon and civilization

Work it... Girlfriend, and the Dawn at Salar de Uyuni
