We arrive in Peru

We arrive in Peru. We stayed in Lima for a few days after leaving Lima. We are now in Cuzco, we have been to Macchu Piccu, and to the Sacred Valley.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST.. Before and after - the American tourist invasion.... I just had to take this picture... Two overweight Americans at Macchu Picchu with a Mc Donald's bag in the middle.... the nearest Mackey D's is over 600 miles away in Lima! Maybe it should be rebranded - Mackey Picchu

You can take the girl out of America, but.........

We are at an altitude of over 10, 000ft and do we know it!! One of the lads on the trip (an English lad) had really bad altitude sickness on the trip yesterday and had to have oxygen!! We are going to Puno on Lake Titicaca on Wednesday 6th and then on to La Paz in Bolivia over the next few days. It is even higher there (14000ft) I'll add a little more information soon when I get the chance!
