Arrived at last in Rio.... Not as good as good old Northern Europe.... If it wasn't for the women, the sun, the cheap booze, and the stupidly cheap but excellent restaurants I'd jack it all in now. Still I'm a glutton for punishment. After all I've made my bed and I'll have to lie in it..... I will have to suffer all of this excess....
Apart from al of that we are having a wonderful time. Rio is a nicer place than people make it out to be but it does have some appalling poverty in the Northern part of the city, but the tourist areas are spot on!!

We've been up to the Sugar loaf Mountain and today we're going up to see the statue of Christ at Corcovado. As you can see here is Den... or should that be reverend Den, the preacher!!
